Into Independence has amalgamated vast experience in the improvement of information and services to disabled and older people, helping them to maximise their potential.

  • Into Independence’s management team has worked with over 60 Independent Living Centres throughout the UK with 350 qualified advisers who consult and advice ¼ million clients every year.
  • Each Independent Living Centre was assessed against national standards for product information, services and impartial advice. The Into Independent team was instrumental in setting these standards.
  • The team organised the annual national conference which attracted influential speakers, including UK Government ministers, the National Health Service leaders, and iconic disabled people.
  • Into Independence directors helped and advised the setting up of Independent Living Centres in Europe including the first ever unit in Malta.
